It had been about 3 weeks today since I last went to the gym, which is by no means my record. Muliple occasions have attracted a call from the gym, to ask me ‘how I’m doing’ and whether there is anything they can do to help me get back into training. Not quite as bad as my boyfriend who almost never goes, and has recieved mail as well as phone calls asking him why he hasnt been in lately. I think its great that they care, so many of these gyms are just money making machines that couldnt care less if you stop going as long as youre still paying the fee, that allows them to sneak more people into registering.

Anyway, today was good, the place had been painted and there were some new faces, lots of young people which would have bothered me initally because this is the first gym ive ever joined and it was all a little intimidating to start with so having alot of older people around made it easier, I couldnt have bared walking into a poser gym with people in makeup strutting their stuff. This was always much better. But now the younger people are starting to join I dont mind so much as I know what I’m doing and feel really comfortable.
